POSITION DESCRIPTION

We have an immediate opening for a salesperson/estimator in our window and door division for a Salesperson / Estimator to generate leads, conduct sales presentations in the home, accurately measure and price product, follow up with customers professionally and promptly, and prepare quotes and estimates.

Previous experience in home improvement sales, window and door sales, home energy or construction and remodeling helpful. Ability to read blueprints and work with architects preferred. Experience installing windows a plus.

TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsibilities of a Salesperson / Estimator are to generate leads, conduct sales presentations in the home and accurately measure and estimate projects
You will attend and participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions and be responsible for updating your knowledge of the product and market
You will work with home improvement specialists, including architects
The position also requires completing all relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

REQUIRED SKILLS

Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
Detail oriented and capable of accurately completing required internal paperwork and contracts with customers.
Able to close sales. Competitive nature, persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
Access to reliable transportation to reach customers homes and company offices/showroom/warehouse

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
Ability to read blueprints and work with architects a plus
